This is a short film of moments during Halloween in Isla Vista. Halloween in Isla Vista for many is about getting dressed up, walking around, (somewhat aimlessly based on my observations), and as stated by several participants shouting from atop a roof "GET FUCKED UP". Over all there are lots of people densely covering Del Playa and other adjacent streets, some people appear obviously far to inebriated to control themselves, and as a result they are usually the ones sitting on the curb with cuffs around their wrist. Overall, if you are intoxicated its not a problem, because there are thousands of people doing the same thing on the street with you. I was slightly disappointed that there weren't more events or activities (aside from binge drinking in crowded apartments) as opposed to Burning Man, or other events where there are large gatherings of people and more activities to really stimulate the energy of the collective consciousness.
