Lately I haven't been directing my efforts toward blog entries. Thats because I've had other projects that are of a higher priority to finish. One of them being Mudutu.com, which launches August 4th- I've been working hard to ensure the success of this website and I'm excited to experience the results. But I have to admit, I would not of been able to direct my efforts with as much diligence and ease as I have without the "Getting Things Done" system. One idea that really connected with me was the concept of writing all of your thoughts down, that way you never have to re-think your thoughts- unless you like thinking them : ) From there it becomes easier to process and organize your thoughts in the the physical "Next-Actions" necessary to fulfilling your idea. I highly recommend buying yourself a copy of the book, or in the very least examine some of the concepts. This system is applicable to all aspects of life, and in general has significantly reduced any stress that I felt previously toward projects.
This is a seminar for Google employees featuring David Allen author of Getting Things Done. David explains his methods to achieving stress-free productivity. "David Allen brings new clarity of the power of purpose, the essential nature of relaxation, and deceptively simple guidelines for getting things done." - Frances Hesselbein

often times, I forget a lot of important spontaneous thoughts. Writing thoughts down is a good way to get a better perspective on my outlook.-Nick
